A little bit about me:
I have a diverse educational and professional background. I earned my M.A. in Global Sustainability and my M.S. in Exercise Science at the University of South Florida and am also a former professional tennis player. My research at USF focused on skeletal muscle adaptations to resistance exercise, exploring the effects of blood flow restriction on muscle size and strength, and investigating low-load alternatives to traditional resistance exercise.
Currently, in my third year of pursuing a PhD at the University of Central Florida, my research is centered on sports science and the impact of various supplements on muscle recovery following muscle-damaging protocols.
I am a Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) accredited by the International Society of Sports Nutrition. I am an active member of the American College of Sports Medicine and hold certification as a United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) tennis coach. I also competed in several NPC Bikini competitions.
