(Please note that I only teach in my HOME STUDIO located in Long Grove IL. I also offer online lessons.
I am accepting all levels and ages of students who seek a deeper understanding of music
and the arts. Under my tutelage my students will develop an excellent technique and musicianship. I combine my teaching with music theory, music and art history. I offer performance opportunities to all students. I have an excellent 6’3 Grotrian grand piano and a Kawai digital piano in my studio. I prepare my students for piano competitions, local recitals as well as college admissions for music majors.
I have 28 years of experience as a professional pianist and instructor. I hold Bachelors degrees from two Universities (Hacettepe University in Ankara & Royal Conservatory of Brussels) as well as Masters and post-masters (Artist Diploma) degrees (Roosevelt University, Chicago). I have been teaching both private and group piano lessons for 28 years in US. I worked as Piano Department Head for number of years at an established music school (Metropolis Performing Arts School) and held a position at Sherwood Community Music School at Columbia College before establishing my own private studio. I also serve as a piano faculty member at the Music Institute of Chicago. I feel privileged to share my knowledge with my students, I love seeing them progress and achieve their goals in music.
