I am John. I am a bay area studio photographer that now does more wedding and event work including portraits, graduations, baby showers.
My story starts back in 2008 during the film to digital transition. This era redefined the way we capture and cherish moments. My goal then was to preserve my memories of the adventures and people I met. Today, my work is to preserve memories in time in a way in which those moments do not fade to gray as years pass by.
As the years pass by I experience photography more and more as a passport that links us to our past, present and future. Photography has allowed me to experience a community of vastly different backgrounds, customs and beliefs. Photography has shown me the craft of preserving moments thru making permanent in gallery work, sent me to report on local community events, and finally to capturing young ones stepping stone into adulthood at schools. Today my work is to capture one’s most important day, the start of a new family branch and beginning a new story which will be told for generations to come.
