I love helping people find joy, connection, and community through music and motion. Each of my sets are crafted taking careful consideration of the mood, setting, and context for every event.
Whatever your musical need, I'm happy to fill it. My music ranges widely and can focus anywhere from funk & disco to house & techno, from rap & hip-hop to swing & salsa, and from pop & classic rock to ambient & experimental electronica based on your vision and plans.
When left to my own devices, my sets cover enough musical ground to take dance floors on an international journey, moving across genres and often incorporating funk, afrobeat, jazz, and funky house. In club and festival settings, I also kick rhymes and MC live over my DJ sets, fusing the funk of classic house with the social awareness of early, conscious hip-hop. I most like to move minds, alongside behinds.
I've performed in weddings (from Yosemite to Washington DC), nightclubs from coast-to-coast (including residencies at Lookout in the Castro and Madrone in the Haight), iconic retail spaces, music festivals and campouts from Baltimore to Black Rock City, backyards, living rooms, public parks, and even a church.
