Terrain:The terrain is made up of gently rolling hills with elevation changes over 75 feet, the highest elevation being 380 feet. The soil ranges from clay loam in the fertile bottoms to loamy and fine sand on the hilltops. Over 65% of the ranch is heavily wooded with large live oak, post oak, elm, and cedar, with the balance being large live oak scattered pasture. One live oak tree in particular is 26 feet diameter, and estimated to be 300 years old. Live Oak Creek makes up the western border of the property with nearly a mile of seasonal creek frontage. The topo changes offer several natural drainages flowing rainfall to the creek bottom, as well as some beautiful views from the hilltops. Thereis some flood plain along the creek, but most of the ranch is high and dry. Water: The ranch has good surface water, including a 1.5 acre bass lake near the house, and two other ponds ranging from 1/4 to 3/4 acres in size.
